What am I?

Am I just my thoughts?

Am I just what I have learned?

Am I simply repeating what I have been told?

Am I programmed by my family?

By my education?

By tradition?

By society?

By culture?

By religion?

By my nation?

By language?

By everything I have experienced?

Am I conditioned by pleasure and fear?

Am I my memories?

Am I my experiences?

Am I my beliefs?

Am I my fears, desires, pleasures, and regrets?

Am I my name?

Am I my body?

Am I what other people have told me I am?

Am I just the image I have built of myself?

What is that image?

How was it formed?

Is it built from my memories, experiences, beliefs, and everything I have been told about myself?

If all of this has shaped me, what is actually “me”?

Is there a “me” separate from all this conditioning?

Is what I call “me” something fixed, or is it being formed and changed all the time?
