What Is Inquiry?

What is inquiry?

What is a genuine question?

Can inquiry begin with a conclusion?

Can we approach a question as though we do not yet know?

Can we put aside, for a moment, everything we think we know about it?

Can we admit that we may not even understand the question itself?

What happens when we stop searching for answers we already have?

Can a question reveal something new if we meet it without immediately interpreting it?

Perhaps inquiry begins there.

What happens when we think we know?

The moment we think we know, do we stop looking?

When we believe we know, do we begin defending what we know instead of continuing to observe?

What happens if we do not force an answer?

Can looking at what something is not help us see more clearly?

Does inquiry ever come to an end?
